Simba 15 mths

So, we have 4-dogs heaped up and we could put up breeder group. Tarujen group was BOB breeder out of three breeders.
After long and hard "begging" all owners agreed to stay to finals - but no luck of it. Well, our youngsters didn`t do their best ;) It was quite a long day for them. Thank you to all of you and Congratulations to family Pirttijärvi; owner of the day`s winner Simba!

27.10.2007  We have puppy-meeting for T-litter at Sipoo dog woods. 7 pups of 9 arrived there.

21.10.2007  Five months old sibling Tarujen Tukae Kwa "Hulda" and Tarujen Tabahani "Lara" entered their first shows (unofficial puppy shows). Hulda was in Turku and she managed all the way to BOB and BIG-3..:). Judge was Matti Luoso.
 Little Lara was in Lahti and she be placed BB-2 after few months older bitch puppy. Judge Hannele Jokisilta.

29.9.2007  Working dog trial competition in Pori

Maru is the first ridgeback who got 1.st prize from working dog trials. He got also title JK1.
 The first rigeback who got JK1 title (with 2. prize) from working dog trials was Maru uncle Tarujen Johari few years ago.

Maru`s points are from field part 200/200 and from obedience 71/100.

11.7.2007 Obediance trial in Luopioinen. 
This time the trial went a little better for Veijo and me than the Championship trial few weeks ago.

7.7.2007 Finnish Championship Team competition of Obedience. CH Tarujen Mbabe TK-1 "Veijo" and I were honoured to be one part of the Finnish RR Club`s team. 13.5.2007  All Breed Show in Hamina. Two Tarujen entries of 15 RR entry. Siblings Zorro and Saga finished their Fin Champion tittles with grand style ( Zorro became also Est Champion).
First EUJW-06, BalticJW -06  Tarujen Penzi  "Zorro" got EXC-1 (only two males got exellent), CAC (his 20th;) and BM-1, BOS. Congratulations Anne and Marko. In this time Zorro was superb handled by Marko... It wasn`t so awfull, or was it Marko??!! ;)
After that  T. Pamuzinda "Saga" exploded a bomb by beeing .. EXC-1, BB-1, BOB...BIG-1..and finaly BEST IN SHOW-3 !!!!!

21.4.2007 Inkoo obedience trial.Veijo`s first time in open class. The weather was quite awfull, but still the trial went very well for us. Although Veijo got zero for jumping, he received 1st price with 164 points.  He was unbelievably energetic and willing for cooperation in that day, which was a little miracle in that kind weather. 
Maru was there too in Winner class (his second time in Winner class). He reseived 2nd price what was nice price if you consider weather.
  
15.4.2007 Group Show for FCI breed 4/6 and 5 in Pihtipudas. Breed entry 6. 
My boy Tarujen Mbabe`s first show for about one and half years. The show went as well as we hoped. Veijo got his last CAC and became FIN Champion. He was BM-3 after two Champion males. Luckily for us BM-1 and BOB got his last CAC only the day before ;) Congratulations Anu and Pekka and new FIN Champion Moran van de Borgerhoeve.
And BIG THANK YOU Miia Jokilahti for Veijo`s handling and for all your help!

6.4.2007 New pictures of two young lads Simba and Tomba....  Take a look.

31.3.2007  Ms Satu Laakso/Kennel Bawabu has donated the trophy called "Gatekeepers bowl". The Trohpy goes every year to the most succesful ridgeback owned by member of the Ridgeback Club of Finland. The owners who want to join to the contest of the Trophy must send the show results to the RR club in Finland. Five best show results influence in that contest and one result can be from abroad.
In this year only two Tarujen RR`s compete of the Trophy and those two RRs done extremely well !!
The Winner ( third time) was Multi CH, Multi W Tarujen Mabaru "Maru" who was also 7th best in all breed Show dog competition in this year!!
The second best was last year`s Best RR show puppy EUJW-06, BalticJW -06  Tarujen Penzi  "Zorro". Zorro is also in the list of 100 best Show dog in Finland in year 2006. He was 41th best.

24.3.2007 Three Tarujen dogs have been entered for International Show in Tampere, one absence. Total entries 37.

EuJW-06, Baltic W-06 Tarujen Penzi "Zorro" was absence from the show due to his bride from Russia. Zorro mated a beautiful bitch Rus CH Aresvuma Bara Etana in Saturday and in Sunday. They might will see each other in Monday as well . More you can find from Kennel Aresvuma`s site.

17.3.2007 Multi Ch, Multi Winner..and maybe we could say..Multi talent Tarujen Mabaru "Maru" and his owner Miia  have been taken part first time at Winner class in obedience...and they got very good results..(.. how else could it be??!! ;)..
Maru took FIRST price with 279 points (first price you get with 256-320 points).  Congratulations Miia and Maru, you are unbelievably!

16.-17.3.2007 Wendi has been inseminated by Buzz´s frozen semen. Now we keep our fingers crossed for nice bunch of healthy litter. After 4-weeks we are going to check the situation in Wendi`s "stomach" by ultrascan.

14.3.2007 Kennel Madzinza have nice puppy news. EuJW-06, Baltic W-06 Tarujen Penzi "Zorro" and Madzinza Basheera Nkosazana "Basheera" have puppies. 7 pups have born and 6 of them have ok ridge, one boy has 4-crowns. Unfortunately 1 was still born and one didn`t stay a live. Gongratulations to Kennel Madzinza and to Zorro for his first litter. More info you can find from Kennel Madzinza`s web-pages.

11.3.2007 Rene`s and Mea`s last day`s succes continued at International dog show in Lithuania. Breed entry 17.
EstJW-06, LtuJW-07 Mbwasimba`s Tarujen Kimea "Mea" entered in intermediate class and this time she got EXC-1, BB-1, CAC,  CACIP, VCW-07, BOB and ... BIG-2 !!!  :) Mea`s handler was his co owner Sari Hirvonen who handles also Rene..

At the same time when Rene and Mea enter the show abroad, we spend our time in springlike weather in Finland and eagerly waited the results of the show..

10.3.2007  LITHUANIAN WINNER SHOW. Breed entry 17. The show couldn`t have gone better for Tarujen dogs..:)
One of our Super Stars Rene has had a terrible start for this year. It was so close that he couldn`t take part to this show. He step on broken class and it almoust cut a pendow of his paw.  It was only a some weeks ago that he got rid of the plaster.
After all adventures - happy end.
Fin Ch, JW-04, W-04, Balt JW-04, W-05, EstW-06 Tarujen Okeyo "Rene" is now INT CH (pending), LTU CH and LTUW-07. He won BOB and BIG-1! 
The apple doesn`t fall far from the tree...Rene`s daughter EstJW-06 Mbwasimba`s Tarujen Kimea "Mea" is now LTUJW-07 and was alsso placed BIS-3 Junior of 120 juniors. 
CONGRATULATIONS Mea`s co owner Sari Hirvonen..I heard that you handled Mea like professional :)

In the mean while MultiCH and MultiW Tarujen Mabaru took part to the Winter Lure Coursing Game and he was second best!!

20.2.2007  Fifteen "Maru" puppies were born At Kennel Shumbazino in Germany. The Super mum is Neli Nyanissa Kimbali "Neli" !  All have ridges and there is very limited white. Other faults hasn`t discovered so far. Mum and puppies (10 males and 5 females) are doing fine. 

10.2.2007 Helsinki, Champion of the Chambions Gala.
Thank you Miia, Tommi and Maru, it was a great evening. It was so exciting to follow Maru`s and Miia`s
performing....  And they succeeded unbelievable well. They continued their winning until second last round. 
Out of  72 entries Maru was within fourth best Champion of the Champions!!!!  

28.1.2007 Obedinece Trial in Mäntsälä. Judge Harri Laisi.
My Veijo (and me) were third time in recruit class and he received his third and last 1st prize... from this class, I hope ;). Next time we should take part to the Open class. Veijo`s points were 189 out of 200 and he was third out of 14 competitors in his class. Veijo got honour prize and title TK1. 
Veijo was only RR at this time. There was so quiet because the other RR people were missing... boooring ;)

27.1.2007 Internationall All Breed Show at Turku. One Tarujen entry of 24 (3 absent).

14.1.2007 Obedience Trial in Lahti. Judge Harri Laisi
My boy Tarujen Mbabe "Veijo" enter in recruit class second time. He got his second 1st prize with 187 points out of 200. He was in shared fifth placements out of around 30 competitors. There were 8 RR`s all to gether in this trial, five in Veijo`s class. Other ridgebacks  got also good results. 

7.1.2007 International All Breed Show at Kajaani.  One Tarujen entry of 11.
Multi Ch, Multi W Tarujen Mabaru "Maru" went to the years 2007 first show with his first fiancée Isabis Bundo Bukoko "Tilly". They both succeed nicely. Maru being BM-2 and Tilly BB-2. Tilly got her last CAC and now she is FIN CH !!!!
